Namrata received her Ph.D. from the School of Public Policy, University of Maryland concentrating in international development policy. She holds a M.A. in Development Studies from the University of Manchester, U.K., and a M.Phil. in Social Sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
She has worked as an analyst at McKinsey & Company, as an executive at the Indian NGO Concern India Foundation, and as an intern at two international organizations, the Global Development Network and the Asian Development Bank.
Her fields of interest are international development and demography; and policy areas of interest are well-being, poverty and inequality; policy analysis and evaluation; public health; and gender and development.
