Postal Services

BTC: Self-service Automated Machine (SAM) outside canteen at Multipurpose Auditorium

KRC: Located near YIH, the Kent Ridge Post Office provides full facilities such as telegram, telex, telefax, IDD calls, speedpost, LUM service, renewal of TV and driving licences, settling of Power Supply and SingTel bills, purchasing of money order, etc. There are two public card-phones at the side of the Post Office for local and overseas calls. A machine for taking instant passport photographs is also available.

NUS Remote Access

NUS Remote Access is the means by which you can connect to the NUS Network without needing to be physically on-campus. NUS Computer Centre maintains a large pool of modems by which you can connect to the NUSNET IV network, for the use of NUS Intranet functions as well as access to the wider Internet.

Dialup Configuration

The information at http://www.nus.edu.sg/dialup/ explains how to configure your personal computer to use this resource, and, for the curious/more interested, what remote access networking is and how it works. Note, however, that although this Remote Access service is provided exclusively for your use as a member of NUS, you should refrain from using the NUS dialup network for non-academic purposes.

Parking at NUS Bukit Timah Campus

With effect from 1 July 2006, SembCorp Environmental Management Pte Ltd (SembEnviro Services) has been managing the car park at NUS Bukit Timah Campus.

The car park is installed with automated parking system using Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) technology. Access via the car park will be by In-Vehicle Unit (IU) identification for both season & short-term users.
