The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy invites public, private and non-profit organizations, local and international, to register as potential clients for our Policy Analysis Exercise (PAE). The PAE is a capstone project of our Master of Public Policy programme undertaken on a pro bono basis.

Clients and our students benefit from the PAE in a number of ways. First, our students – trained in economics, statistics, cost-benefit analysis, political and organizational analysis, and other technical skills – brings in a fresh and multidisciplinary perspective and a problem solving orientation. Second, our students benefit from the practical experience in dealing with real problems. The PAE allows the students to integrate what they have learnt in the MPP programme through the application of theories, principles and technical skills on real-world problems.

All work done will be documented by our students in a clear and persuasive report. They will be advised by our faculty members throughout the process.
