Asian Journal of Public Affairs (AJPA)

The Asian Journal of Public Affairs (AJPA) was launched in the summer of 2007. The journal provides an avenue for international graduate students to publish their work on Asian-Pacific policy issues. The inaugural issue of the AJPA received submissions from four continents and fourteen countries.

Dean Kishore Mahbubani provided an opening commentary on the benefits of studying and observing Singapore’s policies firsthand. Other articles included:

Policy and Society

The School sponsors the journal Policy and Society, the editors for which include Professors M Ramesh and Darryl Jarvis. Policy and Society is an interdisciplinary journal of public, foreign and global policy. It offers a blend of analysis, commentary and debate with the objective of analysing the social, political and economic conditions that shape policies and explore their implications for stakeholders. The journal’s editorial functions are divided among five editors in the following areas: Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and General. A Special Issue was released in 2006 on Social Change and Policymaking in China, with Xiaowei Zang as a guest editor.
