Introduction
| LKYSPP takes pride in its diverse international student body that has grown almost fivefold over the past 3 years. There are currently 283 students from 43 countries and territories enrolled in the Masters and PhD programmes. The diversity of the student population is not only limited to countries of origin. In terms of their educational backgrounds, our students hold degrees in economics, medicine, sociology, business, and engineering, to name a few. The same is true of their professional backgrounds and years of work experience. The School believes that a diverse student body is one of its principal competitive advantages. |
In today’s dynamic workplace, organisations are increasingly looking for professionals who can bring a genuinely global perspective to their roles, a perspective that is derived not just from formal education but from having first-hand experience of the different approaches one can take in resolving key policy issues. Exposure to the collective knowledge and experience of peers from around the world plays a critical role in fostering this global perspective. The diversity of the student body ensures that no nationality, style, or approach dominates, allowing for a truly global learning environment. This is why we believe that a cosmopolitan student body is vital to a successful public policy school such as ours. At LKYSPP, we have a diverse student community which draws strength from its heterogeneity but is united by its common passion for public service. |
