The Economic Development Board (EDB) has been driving economic growth in Singapore through creating optimal conditions for growth that is focused on an export-oriented approach. With the changing conditions and uncertain future, what are EDB's strategies for Singapore's recovery and future growth? Mr Lim Siong Guan, Chairman of EDB will offer his insights on current and future directions of the Board.

Mr Lim Siong Guan was appointed Group Managing Director of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation on 22 September 2007. He has also been the Chairman of the Economic Development Board since 1 October 2006. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (since March 2005), instructing on leadership and change management in the public sector, and a Senior Fellow of the Civil Service College. He is also a member of the International Advisory Panel of the Asian Competitiveness Institute.
