ANG Mui Kim has more than 20 years of IT experience. She is Director, Information Systems and Technology Department of Ministry of Manpower and concurrently the Director, Economic Cluster of Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). Prior to joining IDA in 2009, she was the Group General Manager for a large Singapore IT company responsible for a business unit for Singapore and overseas market. Her experience spans across Systems Integration, Large Scale IT Application & Infrastructure Management Outsourcing, Business Process Outsourcing, Quality & Technology Management and Business Management.
HO Khai Leng works as a Group Director in the Integrated Health Information Systems (IHIS) Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned company of MOH Holdings. IHIS is the IT service provider that supports all the public-sector healthcare institutions in Singapore. He also takes on the Chief Information Officer role at the National Healthcare Group (NHG), and the National University Health System (NUHS).
Khai Leng has been working in the healthcare IT sector for the past 18 years. His current portfolio includes managing IT systems that cover clinical, ancillary, business and care continuum programmes, architecture and development. He is also involved in the strategic planning and execution of IT programmes for NHG and NUHS.
Khai Leng holds an MBA in IT Management from The City University, London, and a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from the National University of Singapore. He is on the Board of Assessor for the Certified IT Project Management (CITPM) and Certified IT Outsourcing Management (COMIT) programmes that are run by the Singapore Computer Society and IDA. Khai Leng is also the Chairman of the HL7 (Singapore) affiliate executive committee.
Kerry HOLLING is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the New South Wales (NSW) Department of Human Services. The Department was established in 2009 by bringing together the previously separate agencies that were Ageing Disability and Home Care, Community Services, Housing NSW, Juvenile Justice, Aboriginal Affairs, the Aboriginal Housing Office and NSW Businesslink. Since February 2007, Kerry held the CIO role at Community Services during a period of significant reform.
Prior to joining the NSW Public Sector, he had a successful ten year period in the Technology industry as the Australian CIO of Hewlett-Packard, Compaq Computers and Digital Equipment. The merger and acquisition experience gained during this time has positioned him well for the challenges to come as the integration of NSW agencies takes shape. Kerry is a member of the NSW CIO Executive Council and current Chairman of the Collaborative Government Services Program Board. He is keenly interested in improving the productivity of front line staff through the effective use of technology.
LAI Weng Yew is a Senior Director with Oracle’s Industry Business Unit for the Tax Administration and eGovernment domains in the Asia Pacific region.
Based in Singapore, Weng Yew’s primary focus is to assist Public Sector Agencies in the Asia Pacific region implement their Tax Administration and eGovernment programmes, leveraging on his years of consulting and implementation experience. To this end, he works closely with the individual country teams to engage the agencies in the respective countries.
Weng Yew has 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Prior to joining Oracle, Weng Yew was a Senior Manager with Accenture’s Government Operating Group in Singapore. He has extensive consulting and implementation experience and has project managed a number of large Government programmes with Accenture. In addition to his work in the Public Sector Industry, he has also worked in projects in the Financial Services and Communications and High Tech Industries.
Weng Yew has a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA and a Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
Kenneth LIM is Senior Vice President and heads the Market Operations and Information Technology team at Energy Market Company (EMC), which is responsible for providing the National Electricity Market of Singapore (NEMS) trading and settlement platform, operating the NEMS IT systems and for charting the company’s technological direction. He joined EMC in November 2006 after having gained extensive experience in the areas of technological development, global business development and operations during his years with CrimsonLogic and PSA Corporation. Kenneth has a comprehensive knowledge of 24x7 critical IT systems operation, new product development and IT policy and process management. He is a strong advocate of the innovative use of technology to drive business competitiveness and ensure system availability and customer responsiveness. Kenneth graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor's degree (first class honours) in Computer Science. |
