Mr Azhar Ghani is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies.
His research areas come under the Institute’s Multiculturalism and Identities cluster.
To take up his current IPS appointment, Azhar is on hiatus from a risk and information consultancy which provides clients with country and business risk analyses for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, and also undertakes confidential corporate research services.
Prior to his foray into risk consultancy, he was a journalist for eight years, including more than two years heading The Straits Times’ Indonesian bureau in Jakarta. He has also practiced as an engineer.
