In collaboration with the Asian Development Bank, the Institute of Water Policy is developing case studies on Asian urban centres that have experienced significant improvements in urban water and wastewater management during the past 10 years. The case studies will identify good practices in the areas of urban water, wastewater and storm water management in eight Asian urban centres
The objectives are:
(i) To use the case studies to propagate the use of good practices in urban water, wastewater and storm water management; and
(ii) To help policymakers in other parts of Asia learn from the experiences of the eight urban centres.
The project also involves desk studies of some cities outside Asia which will be used as benchmarks for the Asian cities.
