Research Assistant for Institute of Water Policy (IWP)
These positions provide the unique opportunity to contribute to the multi-dimensional research efforts of IWP. The selected candidates can hope to enjoy a range of activities such as national and sub-national data collection, analysis, and preparation of diverse research outputs.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Post Graduate Degree from a reputed university in Economics or any other Social Science together with excellent skills in data collection and analysis
- Demonstrated experience in research
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to undertake field trips to Asian countries
- An interest to learn – notably sub-disciplines pertaining to water resources in general and drinking water in particular

Management Assistant Officer - Finance, IWP (6-months contract)
Work in a team to handle the School's accounts payables, accounts receivables, monthly closing of accounts, process of claims and ad-hoc finance projects.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable - Check and process the payments for the School’s divisions, Scan the documents and send to the central finance office on a timely basis.
- Billing of Invoices - Assist the various divisions in billing their customers
- Processing Claims - Check and verify the validity of staff claims
- Monthly Reconciliation of Accounts - To assist in reconciling and closing of accounts at the end of each month. Check and tally the figure for the monthly reconciliation.
- Petty Cash Management - Custodian of petty cash
- Journal adjustments - When needed, to raise the appropriate financial journal entries.
- Adhoc Assignments & Reports - Assist in the preparation of financial & other adhoc reports.
Other Duties
- Support general admin work
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting or relevant
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
