The LKY School signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Tokyo
Tokyo, April 12, 2010 :: The LKY School signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Tokyo.
The MoU was signed by the LKY School’s Dean, Professor Kishore Mahbubani and Mr Yoshihisa Ueda from the IDB’s Representative office in Asia, based in Tokyo. The MoU seeks to formalize a non-exclusive framework of cooperation to facilitate collaboration in the area of knowledge and capacity building of the Bank member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Established in 1959, IDB supports the process of economic and social development in Latin America and the Caribbean and it is the main source of multilateral financing in the region. The IDB Group provides solutions to development challenges by partnering with governments, companies and civil society organizations.
