Where are you from?
I am from Singapore. Although I have lived overseas for extended periods, I have chosen to return to Singapore because of my family.
What sparked your interest in public policy?
My interest in public policy was sparked when I discovered the practicality of the field. Public policy is a field that is predominantly focused on improving the lives of others, and that is the main factor that draws me to this field
Why did you choose to pursue a PhD at LKYSPP?
I chose to pursue a PhD at LKYSPP because it is a very comprehensive program. Indeed, beyond the rigors of the program itself, the PhD program at LKYSPP allows me to develop myself as a well-rounded individual.
What do you enjoy the most about your studies or research work at LKYSPP?
I am very fortunate in the sense that I have excellent PhD advisors. The chance to interact with and learn from them is the greatest enjoy that I have studying at LKYSPP.

What are your career goals?
My experience in the Lee Kuan Yew School has reinforced my sense of public service; therefore, I like to join the government service after I graduate. I want to contribute to the public policy field by serving the public directly. |
